About the position

The Plant Health Care Specialist at SavATree is responsible for inspecting plant material, diagnosing issues, and ethically treating or preventing problems affecting trees and shrubs. This role emphasizes outdoor work, client interaction, and problem-solving, ensuring the health and well-being of plants in a designated territory.

Responsibilities

• Inspect plant material for health issues and identify problems.
• Diagnose and treat pest and disease infestations on client properties.
• Select appropriate products or treatments for plant health issues.
• Educate clients through written diagnostic reports detailing landscape conditions.
• Ensure complete customer satisfaction through effective communication and service.

Requirements

• A degree in Arboriculture, Urban Forestry, Horticulture, Plant Science, Plant Pathology, Environmental Sciences, Landscape Management, Turf-grass, or similar experience preferred.
• Experience working as a plant health care specialist or applying lawn fertilizations.
• Valid Driver's License to operate service-line vehicles.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Authorized to work lawfully in the U.S.
• Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
