About the position

As an HSE Specialist at Forvia, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations while fostering a culture of safety and sustainability within the organization. Your responsibilities will include enforcing HSE rules, conducting compliance assessments, monitoring key performance indicators, and leading training sessions. You will collaborate with both internal teams and external partners to promote safety and sustainability initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Enforce Group HSE Rules to ensure adherence to safety and sustainability standards.
  • Conduct HSE compliance self-assessments and propose solutions for operational staff.
  • Monitor essential Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for effective HSE management.
  • Participate in HSE communication efforts at the site.
  • Lead general training sessions on HSE themes to contribute to skill development.
  • Investigate incidents, determine corrective actions, and ensure implementation.
  • Collaborate with external providers and auditors to align with industry standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with an HSE specialization or relevant industrial experience.
  • Proficiency in HSE tools and methodologies for risk assessment and prevention.
  • Knowledge of national regulations and standards specific to HSE activities.
  • Mastery of internal audit in HSE management systems is a plus.
  • Proficiency in English is a plus.
  • Autonomous and proactive with the ability to manage emergencies effectively.
  • Rigorous approach to health and safety management.
