About the position

The Plant Janitor position at Conagra Brands in Darien, WI is an entry-level role focused on maintaining cleanliness and sanitation within the facility. The role involves various cleaning tasks to ensure that all areas, including offices, restrooms, and common spaces, are kept in a sanitary condition. This position reports to the Team Leader Sanitation and is part of a larger team within one of Conagra's major manufacturing facilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain offices, cafeteria, corridors, labs, restrooms, and all other company premises in a sanitary condition.
• Strip, wax, buff, and scrub floors as needed.
• Clean toilets, urinals, sinks, drinking fountains, and vending machines.
• Tend to towel, toilet paper, feminine hygiene, hand sanitizers, soap, and hand cleaner dispensers throughout the plant.
• Change light bulbs and clean fixtures when needed.
• Maintain accurate inventory and adequate janitorial supplies.
• Keep all janitorial storage areas neat and orderly.

Requirements

• Knowledgeable of janitorial equipment and supplies and their proper use.
• Ability to use simple mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
