About the position

We are seeking an additional team member for our Support Office to assist the affiliated long-term care facilities with their plant operations and building maintenance requests. As a Plant Ops Project Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in processing purchase requests for plant operations equipment and services for the long-term care facilities we support. Our Purchasing team is devoted to being an extension of the facility and assisting with operational needs. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a high degree of communication, cooperation, and coordination with facilities, vendors, and all levels of Administration. You will also be tasked with sourcing suppliers and directing project correspondence, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently. Your primary responsibilities will include processing assigned purchase requests related to plant operations for the buildings and properties. You will generate bid analysis processes to ensure that the best suppliers are chosen for our needs. This position requires a strong focus on organization and detail, as you will be working in a fast-paced environment where effective communication and decision-making are essential. Your ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain a high level of accuracy will be key to your success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Process assigned purchase requests related to plant operations for the buildings and properties.
  • Maintain a high degree of communication, cooperation, and coordination with facilities, vendors, and all levels of Administration.
  • Source suppliers and direct project correspondence.
  • Generate bid analysis process.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Long term care maintenance experience a plus.
  • Plant Ops, Project Management, Building Management or like experience desired.
  • One to three years purchasing experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and decision-making skills.
  • Must be organized and detail-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
