The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture is seeking a dedicated Plant Pathologist to join the Plant Protection Division. As a Plant Pathologist, you will engage in applied research and provide diagnostic laboratory services that are essential for plant inspection, certification, and disease survey initiatives. The work schedule is full-time, with hours from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, including a 30-minute lunch break. There is also the possibility of part-time telework, allowing you to work from home up to two days per pay period, provided you have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location within Pennsylvania. If telework is not feasible, you will report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
