About the position

The Plant Production Manager at Pactiv Evergreen is responsible for overseeing all aspects of manufacturing, engineering, logistics, environmental health and safety (EH&S), and facilities management at the Corsicana plant. This role involves establishing local strategies, leading a workforce of 100-200 employees, managing the annual operating plan, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The manager will also implement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing and support internal customer groups to meet financial targets and customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of manufacturing, engineering, logistics, EH&S and facilities at the plant.
• Establish local strategy and leadership of workforce while interfacing with key internal customer groups.
• Manage a plant population of 100-200 employees.
• Oversee the management of the annual operating plan and deployment of resources to achieve production commitments.
• Lead all aspects of safety management, including establishing effective safety programs and investigating safety incidents.
• Support internal customer groups to ensure attainment of EBITA targets and delivery of finished products.
• Implement special initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing.
• Direct site capital programs and expenditures to support strategic operations goals.
• Comply with all local, state and federal regulations.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree preferred in engineering or business.
• 5+ years' experience in manufacturing operations leadership.
• Management/supervisory experience required.
• Must have financial aptitude and analytical skills.
