About the position

The Product Manager for Application and Cloud Security at State Street will be responsible for establishing the vision, roadmap, and technical direction of security solutions within cloud and application security. This role involves collaboration with IT partners and internal business stakeholders to drive the adoption of security solutions, ensuring the protection of State Street's digital footprint.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute the Cloud and Application security solution roadmap.
• Work with key stakeholders to develop the roadmap and deliver key business capabilities.
• Collaborate with Cloud and Application security colleagues to continuously improve processes and tools.
• Understand enterprise requirements and help shape holistic technical solutions.
• Evangelize security solutions to internal business customers and partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, computer science, or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in industry, government, or consulting roles.
• Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.
• Experience building cloud-based security solutions.
• Passion for security and associated tools and technology.
• Experience writing requirements for engineering teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interface with all levels of personnel.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree in IT, computer science, or related field.
• 8+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies (containers, Kubernetes, etc).
• Experience with Information Security.
