About the position

The Platform Analyst - IT Marketing at E. & J. Gallo will support IT marketing efforts by collaborating with partners and customers to gather requirements, document processes, and manage projects. This role involves participating in product marketing, business relations, and data analysis, translating requirements into IT system deliverables. The analyst will also support platforms through incident management and work collaboratively with business stakeholders to design solutions that meet their needs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with partners and customers to gather requirements and document processes.
• Manage projects related to IT marketing initiatives.
• Support platforms through incident, problem, and change management.
• Open incidents and tickets with vendors and support the Run team with critical issues.
• Participate in Agile planning and demand delivery.
• Assess and break down new work demands into executable parts.
• Gather, understand, and define business requirements to design solutions.
• Measure and communicate project benefits in business terms.
• Manage business and functional requirements and assess risks of solution options.
• Participate in requirement sessions, system demos, user acceptance testing, and end user training.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to test and verify solutions.
• Conduct data analysis on financial resourcing and report findings.
• Run end user adoptions and provide training for business teams.
• Execute product marketing initiatives on platforms to reach business teams.
• Manage medium-sized projects and tasks for internal and third-party professionals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of experience in IT or business analysis; OR Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, MIS, Math, Systems Engineering, or Data Sciences plus 1 year of experience in IT or business analysis; OR High School diploma plus 6 years of IT or business analysis experience.
• Experience soliciting, gathering, and analyzing user input and requirements.
• Experience documenting user stories and creating process flow diagrams.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analysis techniques.
• Highly proficient in basic office applications such as MS Word, Excel, Teams, Planner, and PowerPoint.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of experience in IT or business analysis; OR Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, MIS, Math, Systems Engineering, or Data Sciences plus 3 years of experience in IT or business analysis; OR High School diploma plus 8 years of IT or business analysis experience.
• Experience collaborating with business stakeholders.
• Experience creating campaigns and holding events to drive end user engagement.
• Experience effectively presenting information to groups of executives and managers.
• Ability to create engaging graphic visuals for systems.
