About the position

As an Architect within the Technical Strategy & Innovation (TS&I) team at Splunk, you will play a crucial role in providing technical and thought leadership to enhance customer success and experience globally. This position focuses on developing innovative strategies that improve how customers manage and analyze their digital infrastructure and services, leveraging Splunk's platform portfolio, including Splunk Enterprise and Splunk Cloud.

Responsibilities

  • Engage directly with leading experts to co-develop innovative strategies for managing, monitoring, and analyzing infrastructure and applications.
  • Partner with multi-functional teams to improve product offerings and service delivery.
  • Maintain engagement with all organizational levels, ensuring strategic alignment and operational execution.
  • Serve as a thought leader in architecting innovative solutions to complex technical and business challenges.
  • Champion continuous improvement and innovation to align solutions with long-term strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with product and technical teams to tailor solutions based on customer needs and feedback.
  • Commit to continuous professional development to stay updated on Splunk products and industry best practices.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork and ensure timely information flow across the organization.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in technical consulting or sales engineering.
  • Proven experience with Splunk Enterprise and Splunk Enterprise Cloud in large scale and highly distributed architectures.
  • Demonstrated ability with Cloud providers: AWS, AZURE, or GCP.
  • Splunk Certified Core Consultant Certification.
  • Experience supporting customer-facing multi-tenant infrastructure (SaaS) or similar cloud-related services.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies.
  • Familiarity with both Unix and Windows operating systems; comfortable with command line interface.
  • Experience developing technical documentation including architecture diagrams and user guides.
  • Solid understanding of scripting languages (bash), application development (java, python, .NET), databases, and analytical tools.
  • Experience with automation/orchestration tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or Terraform.
  • Strong track record of aligning stakeholders by influencing without authority.
  • Highly collaborative teammate with a strong work ethic.
  • Well organized with the ability to meet SLAs and ambitious target dates.
  • Familiarity with Agile work management.
