About the position

The Platform Automation Engineer will play a crucial role in designing, developing, testing, and deploying applications within a Wealth Management Firm. This position requires a strong background in Financial Services and expertise in automation tools such as Azure DevOps, Ansible, and Terraform. The ideal candidate will lead automation implementations independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and reliable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy applications end-to-end.
• Automate build processes and CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and related tools.
• Lead and manage the implementation of automation solutions.
• Investigate technical issues and provide timely, accurate responses to customer inquiries.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to maintain and improve the overall technology stack.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience with Terraform, Ansible, and DevOps practices, particularly in containerized environments.
• Strong proficiency with Azure DevOps, Terraform, and Ansible (Must have).
• Proven ability to design, develop, and implement solutions across various platforms and technologies.
• Strong programming knowledge for working across diverse operating systems and environments.
• Experience with Linux/UNIX system administration and relevant tools.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with Docker, GitLab, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) (Good to have).
• Proficient in using Jira for project tracking and issue management.
