About the position

The position is part of the Corning ERP Transformation team, focusing on supporting the multiyear SAP ERP transformation strategy. The role involves program management office execution and cross-functional program alignment for the 'Record to Report' value stream, ensuring effective deployment of SAP ERP transformation projects.

Responsibilities

• Support ERP deployment projects as a liaison between IT and business counterparts.
• Lead early engagement and readiness phases with business and IT to gather requirements and identify gaps.
• Conduct regular risk management assessments and develop mitigation plans.
• Manage testing, training, data migration, and cutover processes in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Act as a system tester and validator when necessary.

Requirements

• Master's degree in business management or industrial engineering with a bachelor's in computer science or information technology.
• Minimum 8 years of SAP functional or business consultant experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with SAP Controlling (SAP CO) in various accounting areas.
• Experience with large-scale SAP FI projects delivering global solutions.
• Minimum 5 years of IT Project Management experience.
• Hands-on SAP configuration skills.
• Strong project management soft skills including effective communication and risk management.
• Cross-functional communication experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience using Planview/Microsoft Projects or similar tools.
