About the position

The Platform/DevSecOps Engineer will be a key member of the Defense Digital Team, responsible for cloud configuration, deployment support, CI/CD pipeline creation and modification, automation, and monitoring of deployment platforms. This role involves collaboration with the Software Factory to drive digital transformation within the organization, utilizing a tech stack that includes Azure, GitHub Enterprise, Terraform, and more.

Responsibilities

• Configure Azure cloud subscriptions for secure operation and application deployments.
• Create and maintain deployment and test automation, CI/CD pipelines, and vulnerability scanning capabilities.
• Stay updated with industry best practices and new tools in the Cloud & DevOps ecosystem.
• Integrate with the Software Factory to mentor and train part-time programmers and citizen developers.

Requirements

• Associate's degree with 4+ years of experience OR Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience OR Master's degree or JD/PhD OR 6 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Must be a US citizen.
