About the position

Lockheed Martin Cyber & Intelligence is seeking a Platform Developer to join our Offensive Cyber community. This role is pivotal in innovating new ways to penetrate the world's most secure systems and networks. As a Platform Developer, you will be involved in developing techniques, tools, and exploits for offensive cyber operations, as well as defending against them. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about cybersecurity and have expertise in various computing environments including Windows, Linux, MacOS, mobile technologies (Android/iOS), wireless technology, IoT, ICS/SCADA, and special-purpose embedded systems. Your contributions will play a crucial role in protecting our citizens and the world from evolving cyber threats. In this fast-paced and dynamic environment, you will collaborate with cybersecurity experts to devise strategies for threat protection and proactive prevention. The position requires a strong foundation in software development, with a focus on programming in low-level languages such as Rust, C, and C++. Responsibilities

  • Develop techniques, tools, and exploits for offensive cyber operations.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity experts to devise strategies for threat protection.
  • Engage in software development across various platforms including Windows, Linux, and MacOS.
  • Work on mobile technology applications for Android and iOS.
  • Contribute to the development of embedded systems and IoT technologies.

Requirements

  • Current DoD Top Secret SCI with Polygraph is required.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a technical discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Master's degree.
  • Experience with Software & Development in at least one of the following areas: MAC OS, Linux, Windows, Mobile, Enterprise Technologies, or Embedded Development.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Bash scripting and C library for Linux development.
  • Familiarity with Win32 for Windows OS development.
  • Ability to code for iOS and/or Android for mobile development.
  • Experience with network technologies such as switches, routers, and proxy servers.
  • Experience with embedded development directly against the operating system.
