About the position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Platform Enablement Lead (Senior Lead Digital Product Manager) in Integrated Agent Desktop (COMPASS) as part of Branch Systems and Transformation within Consumer, Small & Business Banking. This role will be supporting work that stretches across the product team at an L3 level, working across various channels and serving as a central point of contact for various functions. The Platform Enablement Lead will act as an advisor to senior leadership, developing or influencing product strategy, initiatives, plans, specifications, resources, and long-term goals for complex business and technical needs across a functional area. In this role, the individual will lead the strategy and resolution of complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas of the enterprise. They will identify opportunities and strategies for programs and initiatives that have an impact across the business line and may have enterprise-wide implications. The successful candidate will deliver solutions that are long-term, large-scale, and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical, and inductive thinking. The Platform Enablement Lead will coordinate complex activities and provide guidance to others, interpreting and developing a range of policies and procedures for functions with moderate to higher complexity and risk. They will provide vision, direction, and expertise on implementing innovative and significant digital business plans, programs, and initiatives that have a substantial impact. The role requires strategic engagement, collaboration, and influence at all levels of professionals and senior managers across the enterprise. Additionally, the individual will work as a central point of contact to coordinate with Finance, Controls, Risk, and other functions in support of the IAD L3 product. They will also work with various Agent channels (branch, customer service, etc.) to identify training needs, develop materials, and coordinate the delivery of training. Responsibilities include desktop software management, establishing and coordinating IAD product level routines, and vendor management.

Responsibilities

  • Act as an advisor to senior leadership to develop or influence product strategy, initiatives, plans, specifications, resources, and long-term goals for complex business and technical needs.
  • Lead the strategy and resolution of complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas of the enterprise.
  • Identify opportunities and strategies for programs and initiatives with impact across the business line and may have enterprise-wide impact.
  • Deliver solutions that are long-term, large-scale and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical and inductive thinking.
  • Coordinate complex activities and provide guidance to others.
  • Interpret and develop a range of policies and procedures for functions with moderate to higher complexity and risk.
  • Provide vision, direction, and expertise on implementing innovative and significant digital business plans, programs and initiatives which have significant impact.
  • Strategically engage, collaborate and influence all levels of professionals and senior managers across the enterprise.
  • Work as a central point of contact to coordinate with Finance, Controls, Risk and other functions in support of the IAD L3 product.
  • Work with various Agent channels (branch, customer service, etc.) to identify training needs, develop materials and coordinate delivery of training.
  • Responsible for desktop software management including developing a plan to optimize governance, scheduling, communications routines, etc.
  • Establish and coordinate IAD product level routines including cross-intake engagement, Agile routines at the L3 level, Jira Align set-up work, etc.
  • Vendor management including responsibility for TRIMS (Storm), etc.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of digital product management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
  • 7+ years of experience with strategic and/or enterprise initiative planning.
  • 7+ years of experience leading large initiatives with demonstrated ability to collaborate and effectively partner/influence at senior levels.
  • 1+ years of banking digital product management experience.
  • 1+ years of agile experience within a digital product management role.
  • Experience working cross-functionally between the business and technology.
  • Ability to assess issues, make quick recommendations, and drive implementation and execution.
  • Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills with proven ability to turn findings into executable plans.
  • Ability to execute in a fast-paced, high-demand environment, while balancing multiple priorities.
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proven ability to understand the needs and interests of different target audiences.
  • Able to define expected results and outcomes and deliver on commitments.
  • Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment.
  • 1+ years of executive presentation experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, with senior level leaders.

  • Experience with digital product management in a banking environment.
