About the position

The Platform Logistics Architect role at NTT DATA involves serving as an IT Infrastructure Subject Matter Expert (SME) responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining enterprise hardware infrastructure. The architect will make technical decisions to meet business needs and lead presentations, all while exercising creative problem-solving techniques in a complex technological landscape.

Responsibilities

• Serve as IT Infrastructure SME in planning, implementing, and maintaining enterprise hardware infrastructure.
• Provide L3 systems administration and possess knowledge of data center physical infrastructure and systems engineering.
• Make well-defined technical decisions regarding deployment strategies to meet business needs.
• Exercise creative problem-solving techniques in a complex environment using leading-edge technology.
• Lead team or individual presentations.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in distributed infrastructure support, infrastructure architecture, or engineering.
• Strong strategic thinking and leadership abilities with excellent relationship management skills.
• Ability to analyze the financial aspects of technology.
• Solid project management skills, managing multiple projects in a cross-functional environment.
• Experience with HPe and DELL x86 server product lines.
• Understanding of system requirements and ability to develop a technology infrastructure bill of materials.
• Experience with Linux, Windows, and VMware system administration/engineering.
• Ability to evaluate performance data and conduct capacity planning.
