About the position

The Senior Product Manager - Platform at Elastic is responsible for driving key initiatives across the Cloud business, focusing on enhancing the Elastic Cloud platform. This role involves strategic planning, collaboration with engineering teams, and ensuring alignment with customer demand and business goals. The position is pivotal in scaling cloud offerings and delivering exceptional value to customers by overseeing product launches and infrastructure improvements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee strategic initiatives to support the growth and scalability of Elastic Cloud Hosted and Serverless products.
• Collaborate with different engineering teams across Elastic to plan, develop, and launch new Elastic Cloud regions.
• Develop and advocate for public sector requirements, including understanding and addressing certifications and compliance needs specific to public sector customers.
• Identify and implement infrastructure improvements aimed at enhancing the customer experience, ensuring that our cloud services remain reliable, scalable, and secure.
• Work with Sales & Marketing teams to support go-to-market strategies, messaging, competitive analysis, and enablement.
• Analyze market trends, customer feedback and customer usage to drive product features and process improvements.
• Communicate and align with stakeholders across the organization to drive project success and maintain transparency.

Requirements

• 5+ years of proven experience as a Product Manager with a focus on cloud infrastructure or related fields.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and cloud-native technologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Curiosity, an open mind, and eager to learn.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience in managing global infrastructure across AWS, Azure & GCP.
• Experience with compliance and security standards.
• Experience with Elastic Cloud or similar cloud-based search and analytics platforms/products.
