About the position

The DevSecOps Platform Technical Lead is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of DevSecOps platforms, ensuring the integration of security practices throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC). This role involves technical leadership, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and the establishment of policies and compliance management to enhance the organization's security posture.

Responsibilities

  • Design and architect the DevSecOps platforms to meet scalability, performance, and security requirements.
  • Conduct technology evaluations and re-engineering activities to support strategy definition and continuous improvement.
  • Integrate and manage a suite of DevSecOps tools, including CI/CD pipelines and security scanning tools.
  • Implement automated Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure and report platform utilization against SDLC standards.
  • Establish and enforce DevSecOps policies, standards, and best practices for compliance with industry regulations.
  • Lead and mentor a team of DevSecOps engineers, providing technical guidance and support.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote alignment across the organization.
  • Monitor the DevSecOps platform for security incidents and lead incident response efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in DevOps, software development, or cybersecurity.
  • Strong knowledge of DevOps principles, practices, and tools, including CI/CD pipelines and configuration management.
  • Proficiency in cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure as code (IAC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
  • Hands-on experience with DevSecOps tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, Artifactory, SonarQube, SAST, DAST, and SCA.
  • Solid understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Kanban) and version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
