The Travel Town Museum Foundation is seeking part-time Gift Shop Clerks and Play Day Attendants who are enthusiastic about working with children and have a passion for trains. Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service in the gift shop.
- Handle cash register transactions and make change accurately.
- Restock merchandise and maintain the cleanliness of the gift shop.
- Set up, maintain, and clean up Play Day sets for parties at the museum.
- Lift and handle equipment weighing up to 35 pounds.
- Work flexible hours primarily on weekends, with shifts generally lasting 2-3 hours.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and making change.
- Customer service experience.
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods.
- Phone etiquette and communication skills.
