About the position

The Player Services Cashier at Hollywood Casino Tunica is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while handling cash transactions and assisting guests with various services. This role involves processing cash transactions, issuing comps, enrolling patrons into the Players Club, and maintaining accurate player tracking information. The position requires compliance with regulations and company policies, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for guests.

Responsibilities

• Ensure interactions with internal and external guests follow the Red Carpet Customer Service Program.
• Issue comps in accordance with Hollywood Casino Tunica comping policies.
• Process cash transactions for casino customers and employees, including cashing TITO tickets and personal checks.
• Demonstrate knowledge of and compliance with Title 31 regulations.
• Enroll patrons into Players Club and maintain accurate player tracking information.
• Answer phone calls professionally and pleasantly.
• Cash customer checks and establish information accounts for guests.
• Cash and sell chips, redeem players' winnings for cash, and process credit/debit card cash advance checks.
• Balance cash drawers and ensure they are stocked appropriately at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Complete necessary paperwork, including balance sheets and CTRs.
• Meet department uniform, appearance, and grooming requirements.
• Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards.
• Attend all department meetings and training programs as directed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous cash handling or cage experience preferred.
• Prior cashiering experience and/or heavy money handling experience preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions promptly and accurately.

Nice-to-haves

• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to operate an adding machine.
