About the position

The Operational Support Analyst role at Pacific Life Investments is designed to support the ongoing collection and management of performance data related to investment activities. This hybrid position emphasizes collaboration within a small team of investment professionals, focusing on data administration, financial statement preparation, and reporting for asset quality reviews. The role is integral to ensuring accurate financial performance data is available for analysis and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Administration, collection, and upload of financial performance data relating to Pacific Life Investment activity.
• Input and preparation of financial statement data into servicing system applications with attention to format, line item, and chart of account detail.
• Compilation of reporting packages for review and analysis by Portfolio Managers in connection with quarterly asset quality review.
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree (four-year) in business, finance, or accounting.
• Related industry experience preferred.
• Proficient use of Excel and other PC applications with excellent technical skills.
• Strong logical and analytical skills with the ability to research, identify issues, and problem-solve.
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Two years of related industry experience; accounting, loan servicing, real estate, finance, asset/property management, and/or data management functions.
• Prior working experience with technologies such as SpaceQuant, Midland/PNC Enterprise!, Box.com, OpenText ECM, or similar.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.
