About The Position

The PLM Data Migration Consultant / Project Lead role at Wipro involves working closely with customers to facilitate the transition and migration of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and project management skills to define and execute custom migration solutions, ensuring robust and efficient data handling. The consultant will serve as a subject matter expert, guiding clients through the complexities of PLM system integration and data migration processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical/Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering.
• 2-5 years of experience administering, customizing, deploying, or migrating enterprise PLM, CAD, or ERP systems.
• Ability to design detailed migration solutions based on customer business requirements.
• Programming experience, particularly in Python and SQL, to assess and manage customer expectations.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with minimal oversight.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with large data set analysis.
• Experience in complex software development.

Responsibilities

• Work with customers as a subject matter expert in PLM system transition and migration.
• Lead the definition and execution of custom migration solutions for CAD, Part/BoM, change management, and other related data.
• Collaborate with an ITI solution development team to deliver fast and robust migration solutions.
• Capture project requirements directly from end-customers and oversee the development of appropriate technical solutions.
• Jointly test and execute the migration solution in a complex PLM system infrastructure.
