About the position
The PLM Functional CPG Manager at Deloitte is responsible for leveraging deep expertise in product lifecycle management (PLM) within the consumer packaged goods (CPG) and life sciences sectors. This role involves collaborating with senior leaders and business users to translate their needs into SAP S/4HANA functionalities, ensuring that solutions are technically feasible and scalable. The position requires managing complex projects in a fast-paced environment, driving efficiency and responsiveness in clients' value chains through innovative PLM solutions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct discussions with senior leaders from R&D, quality, regulatory, and master data stakeholders on functional solutions with S4 technology backbone.
- Lead discussions with business users to understand their needs and requirements, translating those into SAP functionality.
- Collaborate with technical architects to ensure SAP solutions are technically feasible and scalable.
- Perform high-level functional and technical architecture, analysis, research, and design for PLM solutions with S4 Hana as the technology backbone.
- Deliver complex projects in a fast-paced, team environment.
- Promote and participate in forums for sharing expertise and resolving client challenges.
- Collaborate on innovative solutions to bolster the future of the practice.
- Develop knowledge and gain project experience in PLM's newest and future solutions.
Requirements
- 10+ years of PLM experience.
- CPG PLM experience with formulated products, including working experience with formula, recipe, and product compliance.
- S4 functional experience in EPD, product compliance, and product data management.
- Consulting experience managing/executing at least 3 full digital transformation programs with S4 PLM as the technology.
- Experience using analytics and metrics to assess manufacturing performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree.
Nice-to-haves
- 5+ years of experience in business requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, functional process design, system testing (INT, UAT), and solution delivery.
- Experience in CAD integration, SAP MDG, and Quality Module.
- Experience in infrastructure sizing and S/4 infrastructure architecture.
- Experience in project delivery.
- Experience in another PLM package such as Windchill, Siemens, or Dassault.
- Master's degree.
