The Plumber Apprentice/Helper position at Preston's Plumbing involves assisting in the maintenance and installation of plumbing systems in both residential and commercial settings. The role requires reliable transportation and a valid driver's license, as well as the ability to obtain a Plumbing Apprentice license. The apprentice will work closely with the general contracting team to respond to plumbing calls and ensure compliance with plumbing regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance of plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings.
• Respond to plumbing calls from the general contracting team.
• Install and repair plumbing systems in new construction and residential properties.
• Maintain office communication to obtain permits for plumbing work.
• Adhere to current plumbing rules and regulations to ensure systems pass inspection.
• Participate in the after-hours on-call rotation.

Requirements

• Existing or ability to apply for Plumbing Apprentice license.
• 1 year of plumbing apprentice experience.
• 1 year of plumbing experience.
• Mechanical knowledge.

Benefits

• Full-time position with a pay range of $15.00 - $18.00 per hour.
• Regular Monday to Friday schedule with potential for weekend work as needed.
