Responsibilities

• Prepare working details and perform skilled work involved in altering, maintaining, and repairing water and sewer systems, sinks, toilet equipment, and their accessories and fittings.
• Perform pipe fitting work with steel, iron, brass, lead, and other materials.
• Inspect and test pipelines and plumbing.
• Maintain tools, supplies, and equipment.
• Perform a variety of routine maintenance duties.

Requirements

• Graduation from high school or possession of an equivalency diploma.
• Two (2) years paid full-time or its part-time equivalent plumbing experience at the journeyman level.
• Valid license to operate a motor vehicle in New York State or capacity to meet transportation needs.

• Bilingual and able to read, write, and speak Spanish, or other languages, proficiently.
