Worth & Company is currently seeking skilled Mechanics knowledgeable in pipefitting and plumbing installation to join its growing team.
Responsibilities
- Setting and installation of units and equipment
- Ability to set and install prefabricated materials and equipment
- Ability to install hangers, steel and copper piping, and piping supports
- Proper use of PPE and trade tools needed for trade
- Ability to read blueprints
- Experience with high lift and scissor lift operations
- Testing and connecting pumps and mechanical equipment
- Ability to fill and flush systems
- Soldering and minor welding capability
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent qualification
- Journeyman Certification in Sheet Metal, Plumbing or Pipefitting
- OSHA 30 Certification
- Attentive to detail and alert at all times to ensure safety
- Able to receive and follow instructions and communicate with co-workers
- Ability to work on ladders, stand, reach, bend, and lift objects of up to 50 lbs
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
