About the position
Marlin Mechanical Corporation is seeking dedicated Plumbing Apprentices for new construction projects, including residential and commercial buildings such as apartments, dormitories, and assisted living facilities. This full-time position is based in Phoenix, AZ, and involves working in a fast-paced environment where you will gain hands-on experience in plumbing. As an apprentice, you will be part of a team that is responsible for installing and maintaining plumbing systems, ensuring that all work meets industry standards and regulations. Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation and maintenance of plumbing systems in new construction projects.
- Use power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while working on job sites.
- Lift and carry materials as needed, including lifting 25 pounds regularly and 50 pounds on occasion.
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions, including summer heat.
- Collaborate with experienced plumbers and other apprentices to complete projects on time.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
- Own work boots (steel/reinforced toe optional).
- Own hand tools necessary for plumbing work.
- Documentation proving legal authorization to work in the United States (E-Verify).
- Ability to pass an initial drug test and random drug test screenings.
- At least 18 years of age.
