Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive design of plumbing systems for assigned projects.
- Create complex systems and develop all system drawings, specifications, calculations, and bill of material lists.
- Ensure that the field/shop has what they need for optimal productivity and efficiency during project execution.
- Operate independently in a methodical yet fast-paced manner to set up subsequent project stages for success and timely completion.
Requirements
- Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Design, Civil Engineering, Computer Aided Drafting/Design or related field, or field installation experience.
- Proficiency in a recent version of Revit, Navisworks, and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- Strong understanding of commercial or industrial building construction.
- Working knowledge of steam and hydronic systems.
- Ability to manage a design team's schedule and lead coordination efforts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and strong math skills.
- Ability to read blueprints.
