Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive design of plumbing systems for assigned projects.
  • Create complex systems and develop all system drawings, specifications, calculations, and bill of material lists.
  • Ensure that the field/shop has what they need for optimal productivity and efficiency during project execution.
  • Operate independently in a methodical yet fast-paced manner to set up subsequent project stages for success and timely completion.

Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Design, Civil Engineering, Computer Aided Drafting/Design or related field, or field installation experience.
  • Proficiency in a recent version of Revit, Navisworks, and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
  • Strong understanding of commercial or industrial building construction.
  • Working knowledge of steam and hydronic systems.
  • Ability to manage a design team's schedule and lead coordination efforts.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and strong math skills.
  • Ability to read blueprints.
