We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Plumbing Inventory Manager to join our team. This position is crucial for overseeing and optimizing our inventory of plumbing materials and equipment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the plumbing industry and a deep understanding of plumbing products. You will work closely with procurement, sales, and warehouse teams to ensure inventory accuracy, manage stock levels, and support our operational efficiency. The Plumbing Inventory Manager will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate records of plumbing materials and equipment inventory. This includes conducting regular physical counts and reconciling discrepancies. You will also be tasked with sourcing and procuring plumbing materials from suppliers, negotiating pricing, and establishing strong vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery and availability of products. In addition, you will utilize inventory management software to track stock levels, analyze trends, and forecast future needs based on historical data and market demand. Overseeing the organization, storage, and safety of plumbing inventory in the warehouse is also a key responsibility, ensuring proper handling and timely distribution of materials. You will develop and implement efficient inventory management processes and best practices to reduce waste and improve accuracy, while generating and presenting inventory reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators, inventory turnover, and cost-saving opportunities.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Proficiency with inventory management software and systems.
  • Strong data analysis skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and vendors.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.
