About the position

The Plumbing Manager will oversee the residential plumbing department, focusing on driving revenue growth, managing a high-performing team, and ensuring compliance with local and state codes. This role involves collaborating with General Managers to enhance company culture and engagement while meeting service department goals and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Partner with General Managers to drive revenue growth and margin expansion.
• Evaluate opportunities to leverage Flint's scale to optimize efficiency.
• Build industry best culture & engagement with the General Manager.
• Work closely with Recruiter to develop a high performing team.
• Supervise, manage, coach, and develop Residential Service and Install Plumbers.
• Develop, maintain, and report service department goals and results.
• Prioritize meeting revenue and gross profit goals while ensuring timely completion of work to client satisfaction.
• Conduct weekly 1-1s with employees, performance reviews, and disciplinary follow-ups.
• Counsel, coach, and train employees to meet daily, weekly, and monthly goals and objectives.
• Ensure compliance with all local and state codes.
• Collaborate with Dispatch and Warehouse for work effectiveness.
• Submit service work business data for payroll, billing, accounts payable, vehicle management, and HR functions in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Experience leading and running a plumbing department in the residential sector.
• Extensive managerial experience, including project and team management.
• Effective and professional communication skills.
• Proficiency in sales and service.
• Proficient in using a computer, tablet, and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word & PowerPoint).
• Experience with Service Titan is a plus.
