About the position

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumbing Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in plumbing and HVAC/R systems, with the ability to diagnose and repair a variety of plumbing issues. This role requires a hands-on approach, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in the field. As a Plumbing Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that plumbing systems operate efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
• Diagnose plumbing issues using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Perform field service tasks, ensuring high-quality workmanship in all installations and repairs.
• Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and troubleshoot problems.
• Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical diagnostics related to plumbing systems.
• Collaborate with HVAC/R technicians to ensure comprehensive service on integrated systems.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used during service calls.
• Drive company van to various job sites while adhering to safety regulations.

Requirements

• Proficient in plumbing techniques and practices, with experience in both residential and commercial settings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively.
• Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of air conditioning systems is beneficial for integrated service roles.
• Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
