Responsibilities

• Maintain records of completed projects and parts used
• Complete preventative maintenance for customers
• Diagnose and repair plumbing problems, including component installation and replacement
• Execute maintenance and installation of plumbing equipment for homes and offices
• Inspect plumbing systems and fixtures to identify issues and assess their condition
• Utilize diagnostic tools and techniques to identify the root causes of plumbing problems
• Provide accurate and comprehensive explanations of issues to clients and recommend suitable solutions
• Perform repairs on various plumbing components, including drains, water distribution, plumbing fixtures, and water heaters
• Replace or repair defective parts using appropriate tools, methods, and materials
• Conduct routine maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent future problems
• Ensure that repairs comply with local building/plumbing codes and safety regulations
• Install and connect plumbing systems, including pipes, fittings, valves, and appliances
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure accurate and efficient installation processes
• Maintain detailed records of all completed jobs, including diagnoses, repairs, and installations
• Create and input notes on completed work, including any further action items
• Document any preexisting damages and notify the homeowner or general contractor
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their plumbing needs and concerns
• Adhere to safety protocols and standards while performing plumbing tasks
• Coordinate with other technicians, contractors, and team members to ensure seamless project execution
• Maintain order and cleanliness in the work van.

Requirements

• Current driver's license and clean driving record
• Physically able to lift 50lbs, work in tight spaces, crawl, and possess great physical dexterity
• Able to communicate clearly and effectively
• Minimum of 6+ years of plumbing experience required
