The Plumbing Trainer will be part of the Meskwaki Nation Apprenticeship Program, classified as a non-exempt position. The role involves daily supervision and mentorship of apprenticeship participants in various plumbing settings, including residential, commercial, and industrial environments. The trainer will be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean working environment, organizing and maintaining daily records, and assisting in the coordination of service calls and mechanical construction projects. Additionally, the trainer will help plan and coordinate on-the-job and learning lab activities, assess and evaluate participants, and develop on-the-job learning in accordance with the program's curriculum. The trainer will also complete plumbing projects in a timely manner, create project plans, and ensure adherence to US Department of Labor Apprenticeship Standards. Participation in an after-hours on-call schedule may also be required, along with other assigned duties.
