About the position

The Plumbing Warehouse Technician is responsible for managing, organizing, and maintaining tools, equipment, and materials necessary for various plumbing projects. This role involves early morning shifts to prepare equipment, ensure proper functioning of tools, and maintain trailers, as well as delivering parts and materials to job sites.

Responsibilities

• Arrive early each morning to check out tools and equipment to ensure they are ready for use.
• Test tools to verify they are operating correctly.
• Organize and store stock materials, including special order materials for specific projects, ensuring easy access and proper storage.
• Inspect all trailers each morning to confirm they are in good condition.
• Schedule and take trailers for repair when necessary.
• Identify and arrange for repairs of any broken or malfunctioning tools.
• Transport materials and parts to job sites as requested.
• Pick up project plans from designated locations and deliver them to the appropriate teams.
• Maintain an organized work environment by keeping tools, materials, and equipment neatly stored and easily accessible.
• Ensure that all tools and equipment are maintained according to safety standards and operational guidelines.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift heavy items up to 100lbs and work in physically demanding conditions.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
