About the position

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of plumbing systems and be able to perform a variety of tasks related to installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing fixtures and systems. This role requires mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings.
• Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools for various plumbing tasks, including pipe threading and construction plumbing.
• Perform remodeling tasks related to plumbing installations or repairs.
• Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential issues.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters, to ensure comprehensive project completion.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Plumber or in a similar role.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively.
• Proficiency in basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
• Familiarity with pipe threading techniques and construction plumbing practices.
• Ability to read blueprints accurately.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in residential construction.
• High school diploma or GED.
