About the position

Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Program Manager with our client in the financial industry located in Chicago, IL, Plano, TX, and Atlanta, GA. This is a 12+ month contract position that requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in Change Management and Project Management within the financial services sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading large-scale program and project efforts, demonstrating strong communication skills at the senior executive level. The role demands the ability to plan and direct routines and reporting to drive accountability, transparency, and collaboration across various teams. The successful candidate will excel in adapting to changing business needs and balancing multiple competing priorities in a dynamic environment. They will be responsible for inspiring an audience with diverse business objectives to agree upon and move forward on concepts and recommendations. Strong organizational skills are essential, as the candidate must prioritize requests and workload accordingly to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting. A practical working knowledge of Change Management standards and Agile methodologies, including tools like JIRA and Confluence, is also required for this position.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• 7-10+ years of Change Management experience in the financial services industry.
• Portfolio or Project management experience within financial services.
• Experience leading large scale program and project efforts in a global financial services organization.
• Demonstrated strength in communication skills at the senior executive level.
• Ability to plan and direct routines and reporting to drive accountability, transparency, and collaboration.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize requests and workload accordingly.
• Practical working knowledge of Change Management standards.
• Practical working knowledge of Agile Methodologies and tools including JIRA and Confluence.
