About the position
The Malibu Beach Inn is seeking a Turndown Attendant to join their team. This role is essential for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms, ensuring they meet high standards of quality and guest satisfaction. The position requires flexibility in scheduling, as shifts will vary based on business needs, including weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Ensure occupied and vacant guestrooms are cleaned and maintained up to LQA (Leading Quality Of Assurance) standards.
- Clean and reset guest bedroom and bathroom areas.
- Change linens, make beds, and provide turndown service.
- Dust and vacuum rooms.
- Empty trash and replenish all amenities.
- Replenish stationaries and respond to requests via Alice.
- Be courteous and helpful to hotel guests, reporting any guest requests or preferences.
- Recognize and report all missing, damaged, or substandard furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
- Complete assigned tasks in a timely manner as outlined by supervisors.
Requirements
- 2 years of cleaning experience required.
- 2 years of janitorial experience required.
- Must be physically able to lift more than 10lbs and stand for prolonged periods.
Nice-to-haves
- Hotel experience is a plus.
