About the position

The Kitchen Helper position at Resort Lifestyle Communities is a full-time role focused on ensuring a first-class dining experience for residents and their guests. Working under the direction of the Executive Chef, the Kitchen Helper collaborates with the Culinary and Dining Services team to assist in meal preparation and maintain a clean and welcoming dining environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation and stocking the salad bar.
• Fill refreshment carafes and set tables in the dining room.
• Reset the dining room and kitchen following meals by washing dishes, removing trash, and busing tables.
• Work alongside the culinary and dining team in a dynamic kitchen with state-of-the-art equipment.
• Adhere to the company's core values of Respect, Kindness & Compassion, Honesty, and Service Excellence.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Eagerness to learn and grow as a professional in the food service industry.
• Knowledge of food preparation and/or dish washing is preferred, but training is available.
• Ability to develop positive relationships with residents, peers, and the community.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in food service or hospitality is a plus.
