About the position
This position is for a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) specialist in central Pennsylvania, offering opportunities for growth and leadership in developing the service line. The role includes responsibilities in inpatient rehabilitation, occupational health, and EMG testing, with a call schedule of 1:3. The position is part of a comprehensive system-wide team that includes various rehabilitation professionals and offers uncapped productivity incentives and teaching opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient rehabilitation services
- Conduct occupational health assessments
- Perform EMG testing
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including Pain Management, PT, PTAs, Occupational Therapists, OTA's, SLPs, and Cardiac Rehab nurses
- Participate in teaching opportunities for residents and other healthcare professionals
- Develop and enhance the PM&R service line
Requirements
- Board certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
- Experience in inpatient rehab and occupational health
- Ability to perform EMG testing
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Willingness to participate in teaching and mentorship
