About the position

This position is for a qualified PM&R (Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation) physician in an inpatient setting in Des Moines, Iowa. The role involves providing specialized care and advanced treatment for patients with various rehabilitation needs, including stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, and orthopedic trauma. The facility offers comprehensive management and administrative support, allowing physicians to focus on patient care. Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized care and advanced treatment to patients with rehabilitation needs.
• Manage and support patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, and orthopedic trauma.
• Utilize a state-of-the-art hospital rehab unit for patient care.
• Participate in a physician-led group of physiatrists.
• Conduct general PM&R procedures without on-call duties.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree with a specialization in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
• Board certification or eligibility in PM&R.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment with physician leadership.
