About the position

The Strategic Readiness Planner and Programmer at PrimCorp, LLC will support the Headquarters U.S. Air Force by providing expertise in data research, programmatic and analytic functions to enhance Air Force readiness. This role involves conducting analyses, supporting high-level resourcing decisions, and ensuring effective communication of readiness issues to senior leadership and external agencies.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expertise on research, programmatic and execution analytics in support of the Operational Training and Readiness Panel.
  • Assist in the Service-level management of a portfolio of program elements and provide input for high-level resourcing decisions.
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative methods for assessing and improving command level plans and programs for major operations.
  • Provide advanced knowledge of program requirements and operational efficiencies, readiness, manpower, and modernization.
  • Assist AF in assessing, defending, and articulating readiness issues at various levels of engagement.
  • Perform analysis and database activities associated with the planning and programming cycle.
  • Provide detailed guidance and analysis of programmatic functions and apply statistical techniques to analyze large data sets.
  • Establish reliable processes for quick-turn decision support.
  • Provide recommendations on high visibility plans and decisions regarding resource allocation.
  • Assist in fiscal planning and development for the annual Program Objective Memorandum (POM).
  • Represent the organization in meetings and provide recommendations on issues of common interest.
  • Prepare AF senior leaders to defend and articulate the AF position at all levels of engagement.
  • Analyze and evaluate effects of high-level decisions on AF programmatic strategies.
  • Support the AF in responding to JS and OSD requirements.
  • Schedule and conduct team meetings necessary to develop deliverables.
  • Provide technical and analytical support for AF Panels, Boards, and Councils.
  • Develop high-quality work products and deliverables, including working papers and plans of action.
  • Provide analytical support to defend and articulate the USAF personnel force structure during defense reviews.
  • Develop strategies for AF operations and execution of the President's Budget.
  • Conduct analysis of financial functions supporting AF leadership.
  • Utilize tools and methodologies in support of AF corporate structure and resource allocation process.
  • Participate in studies and evaluations to ensure AF positions are correctly addressed in findings and recommendations.
  • Maintain liaison with other Air Staff and DoD offices to integrate AF support actions.
  • Synchronize with AF predictive analysis team to ensure databases and briefing inputs are complete.
  • Analyze effects of high-level decisions on AF funding and programming strategies.

Requirements

  • Active Secret Security Clearance is required.
  • Expertise in data research and programmatic analytics.
  • Knowledge of AF organizational structure and operations.
  • Experience with strategic planning and programming processes.
  • Ability to analyze large and complex data sets using statistical techniques.
  • Strong communication skills for engaging with senior leadership and external agencies.
  • Experience in resource management and fiscal planning.
