About the position

The PM5 Maint Planner position at Clearwater Paper involves developing and coordinating maintenance plans for the Shelby facility, which produces high-quality consumer paper products. The role focuses on preventative maintenance, tracking labor and materials, and ensuring safety standards are upheld in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop maintenance plans, including materials, man hours, and sequence of activities.
  • Assist in initiating preventative maintenance and coordinate regular activities.
  • Monitor and track internal labor and materials using the JDE work order system.
  • Oversee JDE notification flow and backlog, conducting maintenance log audits.
  • Assist in developing equipment inspection procedures for maintenance and electrical departments.
  • Attend scheduled Operations review meetings as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Facilitate maintenance shift hand-off meetings and issue daily work orders for the team.
  • Work with the Storeroom Coordinator to plan and schedule spares and material reservations.
  • Develop Gantt charts for outage jobs and projects.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and participate in safety incident investigations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • Minimum 5 years demonstrated mechanical experience or 3 years of related education in lieu of experience required.
  • Internal candidates must have completed a minimum of Level 5 Qualification.

Nice-to-haves

  • Maintenance planning experience preferred.
  • Experience working with computerized maintenance systems preferred.
