About the position

The Podcast Clip Video Editor will be responsible for editing engaging short-form podcast clips tailored for social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. This part-time role offers the potential for growth into a full-time position, especially for candidates with camera operation experience. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with the team to enhance video content and contribute creatively to the podcast production process.

Responsibilities

• Edit engaging short-form podcast clips optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
• Enhance video content using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Tailor edits specifically for vertical formats, ensuring content is platform-optimized and engaging.
• Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and execute creative ideas.
• Use skills in Photoshop and Illustrator to create supporting graphics or promotional materials.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (must-have).
• A strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts trends, formats, and best practices for vertical content.
• A strong portfolio showcasing your video editing skills (please include samples).
• Ability to meet deadlines and work collaboratively.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in Photoshop and Illustrator (bonus but not required).
• Local candidates who can occasionally work in-studio or on-site.
