About the position

We are seeking a talented and motivated Podcast Editor to join our team on a part-time basis, with the potential to grow into a full-time role. This position involves editing and producing weekly podcast episodes, managing content on various platforms, and creating engaging short-form content for social media marketing. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate about podcast production and content creation.

Responsibilities

• Edit and produce weekly podcast episodes to ensure high-quality audio.
• Assist with uploading and managing content on podcast platforms.
• Create engaging short-form video and audio content from podcast episodes for social media marketing (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts).
• Collaborate with the team during occasional in-person meetings to plan and review content strategy.
• Work remotely to edit and manage content using your own editing software.

Requirements

• Proven experience in podcast editing and audio production.
• Proficiency with audio editing software (e.g., Adobe Audition, Audacity, GarageBand, or similar).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Reliable access to your own editing equipment and software.

Nice-to-haves

• Ability to create visually appealing short-form content for social media platforms using tools like Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, or Canva (preferred but not required).
