About the position

The Residency-Trained Podiatrist will join a physician-led multispecialty group in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, focusing on comprehensive orthopedic services. The role involves treating a variety of foot and ankle conditions, supporting orthopedic surgeons, and contributing to the growth of the practice. This position offers a clinic-based schedule with no on-call requirements, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Responsibilities

  • Support orthopedic surgeons by treating a wide range of foot and ankle pathologies such as tendonitis, arthritis, heel pain, deformities, and fractures.
  • Perform wound care, nail care, injections, and in-office procedures.
  • Maintain a clinic-based schedule with no Podiatry call requirements (Monday-Friday, 36+ patient contact hours weekly).
  • Build and proactively develop the practice to meet the needs of the Ft. Lauderdale population.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of an accredited Podiatry Residency Program.
  • Board Certification through the American Board of Podiatric Surgery (or eligibility to obtain certification within two years).
  • 2+ years of experience preferred (new graduates considered).
  • Active or eligible for Florida medical licensure and hospital privileges.
  • Valid controlled substance registration with the Board of Pharmacy and DEA.
