About the position

They blaze their own trail, one without compromise. Polestar Washington, DC is now recruiting a Polestar Specialist. As a Polestar Specialist, you will ensure that visitors receive inspiration and support to learn about Polestar from the moment they walk into the Space. Polestar has created one of the most innovative vehicles ever made, and you will help deliver an equally innovative and unforgettable customer experience. You will provide a tailored experience based on guests' specific interests and agenda, educate and inspire guests by answering their questions, and turn curiosity into intense interest by introducing people to the exciting vehicle and services that Polestar offers. Additionally, you will build and maintain long-term business relationships with customers, schedule test drives, and follow up with customers by guiding them through the purchasing process. You will act as a role model of Polestar's culture and behaviors, embodying the brand's values and commitment to sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Ensure visitors receive inspiration and support to learn about Polestar.
• Provide a tailored experience based on guests' specific interests and agenda.
• Educate and inspire guests by answering their questions.
• Turn curiosity into intense interest by introducing people to Polestar's vehicles and services.
• Build and maintain long-term business relationships with customers.
• Schedule test drives and follow up with customers through the purchasing process.
• Act as a role model of Polestar's culture and behaviors.

Requirements

• A minimum of 6 months experience in a progressive, client-oriented retail environment.
• Strong communication skills and an empathetic instinct to understand customer needs.
• Eagerness to learn and passion for the Polestar brand and its commitment to sustainability.
• Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working in retail environments with strong branded experiences.
• Experience in drama, public speaking, teaching, sales, event planning, or customer care.
