About the position

Polestar is expanding its presence in Washington, DC, and is seeking a Polestar Specialist to join their innovative team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that visitors receive inspiration and support as they learn about Polestar's cutting-edge electric vehicles. As a Polestar Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing them with a tailored experience that aligns with their specific interests and needs. Your primary goal will be to educate and inspire guests, turning their curiosity into a deep interest in Polestar's offerings. You will be responsible for building and maintaining long-term relationships with customers, scheduling test drives, and guiding them through the purchasing process. This position requires a strong commitment to delivering an unforgettable customer experience, reflecting Polestar's culture and values. In this role, you will engage with customers in a dynamic showroom environment, showcasing the innovative features of Polestar vehicles. You will need to be proactive in addressing customer inquiries and providing insightful information about the brand's dedication to design and sustainability. Your ability to connect with customers and understand their needs will be crucial in fostering a positive and engaging atmosphere. The ideal candidate will possess a customer-centric mindset, strong communication skills, and a passion for the automotive industry, even if prior experience in this field is not mandatory. The position also requires flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate customer needs and showroom events.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a tailored experience based upon guests' specific interests and agenda
  • Educate and inspire guests by answering their questions
  • Turn curiosity into intense interest by introducing people to the exciting vehicle and services that Polestar offers
  • Build and maintain long-term business relationships with customers
  • Schedule test drives and follow up on the customers by walking them through the purchasing process
  • Act as a role model of Polestar's culture and behaviors

Requirements

  • A minimum of 6 months experience in a progressive, client-oriented retail environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Customer-centric mindset
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

  • Experience in the automotive industry
