About the position

Marlee Pro Solutions is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Police Administrative Aide I to join our team in Honolulu, HI. This position is crucial for supporting the operational activities focused on investigative support within the law enforcement framework. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently to assist in the enforcement of laws and conservation measures for living marine resources in the Pacific Islands Region. The role requires a commitment to excellence and a strong background in administrative and investigative support, ensuring that all tasks are completed in accordance with local standard operating procedures (SOPs) and within established deadlines. As a Police Administrative Aide I, you will manage incoming and outgoing communications, including phone calls, emails, and other correspondence. You will also monitor and respond to work-related emails, chats, and calendar tasks, maintaining and updating our Monitoring System dashboard and entering data as required. Generating recurring and on-demand reports using law enforcement databases will be part of your responsibilities, along with assisting in the processing of case packages in the law enforcement system. Your role will also involve performing data entry, submitting requisition forms related to investigative support or activities, and conducting sample audits while entering audit data into online interfaces according to SOPs. This position is designed for someone who thrives in an office setting and is willing to engage in occasional local and off-island travel to fulfill job duties.

Responsibilities

  • Manage incoming and outgoing communications, including phone calls, emails, and other correspondence.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional relevant post-high-school education or training may substitute for experience.
  • Minimum of two years of related experience in an administrative or support role.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite (Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Docs, etc.) and other office software.
  • Experience with data entry, spreadsheets, and filing.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
  • Valid driver's license for local travel requirements.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working in a law enforcement or regulatory environment.
  • Familiarity with Vessel Monitoring Systems (VMS) or related technologies.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
