POLICE DISPATCHER I

About the position

The Police Dispatcher I position at the City of Brentwood involves working in a professional and community-oriented environment within the Brentwood Police Department. • Maintain communication with officers in the field and provide support as needed.
• Document calls and actions taken in the Computer Aided Dispatch system.
• Assist in the operation of radio and phone systems.

Requirements

• Strong writing skills for clear communication.
• Analytical skills to assess situations and prioritize responses.
• Proficient computer skills for operating dispatch systems and documentation.
• 1 year of relevant experience or training.
