Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred
• Completion of a certified police academy training program
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background investigation, including criminal history check and drug screening
• Excellent physical fitness and ability to meet department standards for physical agility and strength
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations
• Knowledge of laws, regulations, and procedures related to law enforcement activities
