Lower Providence Township is seeking a full-time Police Officer to serve the community in Eagleville, PA. The role requires candidates to meet specific qualifications and training standards to ensure they are equipped to perform law enforcement duties effectively.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Current resident of Pennsylvania at the time of appointment
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license at the time of appointment
- Proof of U.S. Citizenship
- High School diploma or GED
- Physically and mentally fit
- Successfully completed Act 120 training with an academy certified by the PA Municipal Police Officers Education and Training Commission (MPOETC)
- Ability to meet the certification standards of the MPOETC as required by PA Act 120
- Qualify for a waiver of training and successfully complete an oral interview, medical, psychological, and polygraph exams, and background investigation
